This event is a continuation of the Delavan, IL event. The event was discontinued at the Delavan site and relocated to Morton, IL.

1812 Overture Concert, 7:30 pm.

We will have 3 guns, both Napoleons and Tim’s Parrott gun.  Arrive by 5:45 to unload 2 guns and 1 limber from the buss and rapid fire drill, powder runners that can hussel are also needed.

July 15-16, Vandalia,Il **Cancelled**

Event was cancelled by the staff due to a number of other issues.  They still plan to hold the event next year.

July 22-23, Lombard,Il

Skirmishes and battles, plenty of time to talk to the public with presentations.

August 5-6, Carpentersville,Il

Reenactment, 2nd year for this event. Held at Carpenter Park.

Civil War reenactment units will be camping at the park all weekend, staging special events such as living history demonstrations. Community members can watch as troops march down Spring Street in a parade leading to the park. The highlight of each afternoon will be a battle between Union and Confederate soldiers.

August 26-27, Stockton,Il

19th Annual Battle of Morseville

The event is held on the Eloise Pierce Farm (a real farm!), and the 40 acre reenactment space is a cow pasture eleven months out of the year.
