Was a member from 1993-1997. Finest group of reenactors and friends in the Mid West if not the entire country. My compliments on the web site and especially the tributes to Mr. Gerbode and my friend, Tom Lyons. My family and I were very active members and are proud to say it. There was one summer where I believe we did events of varying size for 6 weekends in a row. We liked to say the hobby was so much fun it hurt. LOL. Lots of Sundays we drove home smelly, exhausted, sore, sunburnt and very happy. Our kids used to ask to go to bed they’d be so tired from a day’s activities. Very fond memories indeed and I thank Battery G for having us. very sincerely, David, Janine, Brad, Janna, and Rachel Dougherty
